Don’t become a victim of violent crime in South Africa

Arm yourself with knowledge and technology to improve your home and personal security, resulting in a safer environment for you and your family.

Below follow some links to websites which you may find interesting and useful when researching about crime issues in South Africa and related topics. These are third party sites and their listing here does not necessarily constitute our recommendation.

South African Police Service - The official website for the SA Police. You will find information on crime stats, the structure of the service and other bits of relevant information.

eBlockwatch - An interesting setup essentially run by one man. Over the years he has developed contacts in the police force and within various communities. He seems to use this together with cell phone technology to help trace missing people and fight crime. Well worth a look.

Crimeline - A Primedia initiative which allows you to give police, information on criminal activity anonymously. This is for giving police tip offs and not for emergencies. So far it seems to be running successfully. Instead of just whining about crime, this gives you a chance to do something about it.
